Lagoon 2011

We drove the gruelling 11 hour drive down to Tiff & Jared's (i think without kids it's like a 9 hour drive). We took advantage of Tiff's work Lagoon Day since she was able to get us tickets for a discounted price. We spent the entire day there, seriously. Some of the highlights:

We had all 9 of us on the Raging Waters raft- which mean WE ALL GOT DRENCHED! When we went with fewer of us at a time only some of us got wet. We didn't have a picture of all of us but here's one from our 2nd ride.

*it took 3.5 hours for my clothes to dry after that.


All 3 little kids were very adventurous and went on pretty much ALL the rides. Some of the favorites:
     - Puff the Dragon roller coaster

 - Dragon Egg Drop

     - Dragonfly Swings

Then on the flip side.. the ones they did NOT like:

    - Pirate Ship: Lilly wouldn't even get on this one. Amelia went with Gage and did fine until it started getting more perpendicular to the ground.

    - Dinosaur Egg Drop: Amelia did NOT like this one. Each time the ride dropped- she started to shake and get tense at the same time.

   - Haunted Mansion: Neither one of the girls liked this one. It was dark and had scary noises.

Larry & Gabriel rode most of the fast exhilorating ones. Then when Jared2's brother, his wife Shanna & their daughter came- Gabe went and rode the rides again with Shanna since her husband doesn't like fast rides. Lilly & Gage spent about an hour doing the little side games trying to win prizes. They won a couple stuffed animals. Amelia played one game- she threw darts at the balloons and popped 2 of them on her own.
