Mom bought the kids a pool the other day in anticipation of the weather getting much warmer and lucky us.. today was that day. I am not sure what the exact temperature was but at 4pm on my way home the van said it was 84 degrees. Lilly & Seth both had early naps and they must have known what the plan was for when they woke up because they didn’t sleep for very long.
We got the pool out of the box and proceeded to blow it up and we should have known that it wasn’t going to look like the picture on the box. The box shows kids that look like they are 4 or 5 playing in the pool and going down the slide. Well, based on the pictures you can tell that Seth & Lilly took up all the room in the pool.
They both had a great time splashing and running in and out of the pool. The giraffe’s head connects to the hose so it sprays water. Seth had a great time pulling on the head to make it spray us instead of the pool.
Amelia woke up from her nap so she got all suited up and despite the cold water she had a great time. Every time she splashed the water she would have a big grin on her face. She also kept trying to reach for the leaves in the water so she could eat them.
Laura and I got to watch all the excitement, break up a couple of arguments between Lilly & Seth, run away from the water Seth was trying to spray at us, take pictures & be really hot.
