Pacific Science Center

When we were planning how to spend our spring break we knew that we wanted to go to Oak Harbor but we thought it'd be nice to spend a day doing something in Seattle. We had 2 options on where to go and luckily the weather decided for us. Amidst the cloudy, rainy day we drove to the Pacific Science Center. We hadn't been for about 4 years and since it was inside we didn't have to worry about it raining on us.

We did venture outside when it stopped raining so Lilly could pet the Llama's- she didn't care for them very much.

Amelia and Lilly hanging out in the kid area. I was be-headed in this photo..nice.

Waiting paitently for our dinner at the 6 FOOT tall Table.

Gabe & Amelia operating one of the machines... can't remember the name.

Who can resist a CAR with BUTTONS in it to push?

The GIRLS favorite, of course, the water area. Amelia actually got her hands over the top of the spray (you can see it at the bottom of the picture) and she ended up spraying a dozen passerbys on the other side with water. Very NICE... we quickly left after that.

We actually spent a lot of time with the snakes, watching them slither around and stick out their tongues. Eww.. but Lilly didn't seem to mind. She liked it better than the llama's.

They have a new attraction since we were there last called the GPS Center. There is a maze that you have to incorporate hints and figure out codes etc.. Well, we ALL went in towards the end of the day and we got completely lost. We were thinking it was just a maze to walk through and if you didn't want to participant you just move along faster. Well, the girls weren't letting us read all the hints so we bagged that idea and used the cheats to unlock doors. The problem was that once we'd unlock one door, we'd just end up in another locked room over and over again.. We finally walked out the beginning of the maze against all the traffic. Maybe next time when the girls are a little bigger.....
