We love to go visit the zoo's.
This time we went to the Oregon Zoo just for the day.
Amelia was tired on the drive over but couldn't fall asleep without a blanket over her head.
to block out the sun?, the noise? who knows but she slept like rock.
Lillian enjoys looking at most of the animals. She isn't one to linger at any exhibit, always in a hurry to get on to the next one.
one of her favorites was the polar bear, possibly because he was sleeping right up against
the window and she could REALLY see him.
amelia's favorites? she just loved to run, point at whichever animal she saw, then run some more.
she also enjoyed her sno cone which she dumped into her lap trying to drink it.
By the end of our trek, Lilly had tired legs and an active imagination.

She sang on the way home about monkeys dressing up like princesses,
elephants coming to dinner
and even her Brother Gage being a turtle.
