It was a beautiful day to go to the zoo. The gang consisted of Gage, Lillian, Amelia, Tiffany, Jared2, James, Jared, Jordan Shanna & Kaitlyn (Tiff's bro in-law family), and myself. It was great fun to watch and listen to Lilly as she named animals, made animal noises, and ran from exhibit to exhibit. We took her to the Seattle Zoo when she was 1 and it was fun but this time she knew the animals and could imitate them. Gage was her zoo buddy, always sticking to her side since I couldn't run after her as well. Her absolute favorite was the graphs (giraffes) and now even three days later still wants to drive to Tiffy's house to visit them.
Amelia enjoyed her ride around the zoo as well. She had the comfy spot sitting in the stroller. The animals didn't really interest her as much as her toys or fingers did. I must admit she was a real trooper and even kept her hat on the whole time.
