Lately Lilly has been favoring her My Little Ponies. The Ponies sit on the table during our learning time, they help Lilly eat her lunch and even take naps along with Lilly. When she first got her ponies she called them each "horse" but now she has given each of her ponies a name. The pink pony with braids is Daddy, Mommy is pink with blue frizzy hair, the blue horse with wings and rainbow hair is Gabriel, Gage is yellow with green hair, Lilly is purple with white hair, and Amelia is the littlest one of the bunch. While it's fun to listen to her call them by their names it is even more fun to hear her stories. Gage the pony gets on the school bus, plays rock band with Lilly and chases Gabe the pony. Lilly pony gets to ride on Daddy pony's back, she puts Amelia pony down for naps or Mommy pony feeds her. It is amazing to listen to her reenact the little things we do each day with her ponies and turn those little things into fun things.
