Memorial Weekend Day1

For Memorial Weekend we headed up to see Larry's parents on Whidbey Island. We got there Friday night after driving through Seattle Traffic and listening to Larry complain about how worse the traffic has gotten over the years.. ... He says the same things every time we drive up there! We went to "old" downtown Oak Harbor and had dinner at a Pizza Buffet in a little shopping mall. The restaurant had clocks everywhere, each one unique and EVERY single one had the correct time (at least the ones I could see)- talk about totally AWESOME! Although i wouldn't want to be the one who changes them for daylight savings every year.

Saturday Lilly & Amelia were up early and ready to head out to the Indoor Bounce House.Lilly was literally trying to push us all out the door by 9. The place didn't open up til noon so we spent the morning teaching Grandma Peggy & Grandpa Gordon how to use the Wii Fit. We had a Hula Hoop contest and I was declared the winner!! On to the bounce house...

Amelia busted her lip on Larry's head when she dived right into him. She was bleeding and crying but still was fighting me to go play. The definite favorite.. once again.. was the big slide. Lilly was able to climb up it all by herself this time and Amelia was sure trying her hardest but needed help still. Lilly started the day sliding down backwards, feet first.. and on her very last slide of the day she went down head first! Such a brave little girl! Also of note.. Grandpa Gordon going down the slide!! Woo Hoo!!
