Today was crazy. Today was sunny. Today was FUN. Today was ALL about COUSINS!
We meet Grace, Preston & Carson at the park after lunch. They all ran through the splash pad, stood on top of the sprinklers, ran away from the sprinklers and jumped in many puddles.
Then we wandered over to the fish pond to see if there were actually any fish today. Surprise! There were a lot of little gold fish and some other type of medium size fish.
Having a short tea party, although today Grace served Chocolate Milk instead. Once they gulped their milk down it was on to the next thing.
The "Pirate" ship as they all climbed aboard for a quick picture. I was amazed that they had put themselves in chronological order.
And last but not least... the SANDBOX. At this point I had to text Grammy and let her know we'd be stopping for awhile as they all wanted to dig.
Once they were done in the sand, we walked by the Chinese Garden, then finished up wandering through the roses. I have no rose pictures because at this point they all started wandering in, of course, different directions and I had to start shouting "Run back to Grammy!" to get them all on the same path. It worked and so we packed up for the day and headed home.
We let Grammy do her grocery shopping sans 3 kids, so everyone ended up back at our house. They took a breather from outside and sat and watched part of a movie before dinner time. After dinner we all headed back outside to;

JUMP
WHEELBARROW ROCKS AROUND
AND DRIVE AROUND THE YARD!
Lilly did a great job sharing and taking turns driving her Princess car. I was afraid that fights would break out but the didn't. We played until Grammy came at 8 to pick up the kids.
We had tons of fun and the bonus was that BOTH my girls fell asleep quickly despite the fact that the sun was still shining through their window (if their room is light then they usually don't fall asleep.). And now, I am exhausted, ready for bed but still typing away and getting in my computer time for the day!
