Mia+Bike=LOVE

Amelia LOVES riding her bike. When it's been too cold or too dark to ride outside- she insists on bringing it inside so she can keep on riding. Weather permitting, she & I have been going on walks to give her the opportunity to figure it all out (and let's face it- so she can burn a portion of her energy off). I'm impressed with how quickly she got the pedaling down. She still hasn't figured out that to stop, she needs to push the pedals backward, and instead runs into whatever object is in front of her to "help" her. It's nice that she gets to follow Lilly and she how her Big Sis does it. Lilly's been a real trooper and stops or slows down when Mia & get too far behind. She's also got her eye on a purple bike that she'd like to get for her birthday next summer (it's the next bigger size). I'm sure glad that we haven't had to put the bikes completely away yet, the cold weather will be here shortly and we're going to try to take every opportunity riding that we can!
