Amelia, of course, spent most of the day in the dirt box, again. She was happy and content to to dig her toes into the ground and fill up buckets with dirt. Lilly joined her a little bit, and Quinn was there quite often as well but I don't have the pictures from Mom's camera.
The highlight of the reunion was that we got to hear the story & even MEET our new family. I can't re-tell the story very well but basically, my Mom's Uncle Rod was switched at birth with a different baby boy named Gene. There was a rumor when the were younger but neither did anything to find out for sure until recently when the reunited. So, we got to meet Gene, his wife and their children and grandchildren. Mom got all the pictures on her computer.
SUNDAY
It was nice and quiet on Sunday. The trailers, cars and people were gone except for a few stragglers, us included.
Tif & I enjoyed the quiet time watching the kids roam around, talking and spending time with Grandma Jean. We went on several walks, all 3 kids LOVED taking walks especially to see the baby cows. We started this walk kind of late but we ran into several friends on our way to the cows.
We met the owner of Bella and Candy. She was out filling up their water barrels and giving Bella a spray down. Once Bella (the dark one) was sprayed down we got to see as she rolled around in the dirt afterwards.
Once we were done watching the horses and running from the mosquitos, we ran into this friend in the road. Grandma didn't know what his name was, but he sure was friendly. He was more agressive than the kids liked but with Grandma's help they all became friends.
And FINALLY, we found the baby cows...
We had to love on the baby cows. Each time one of them made a sound the kids would squeal with delight. They weren't afraid to stick their hands out and pet them.
I took some pictures of the kids- playing with my camera and using the gorgeous scenery of oxford. They didn't all turn out great, but I think I may be getting a little better (or it's possible the kids were more cooperative this time).
We got a picture of Quinn talking to his Daddy on the phone- it was pretty sweet!
Monday we headed into Logan to meet up with Mom & Tiff's car. We all had lunch and then Tiff & Quinn headed back home, and the rest of us ran to a couple stores then went to Brenda's house. The first thing Grammy showed the girls at Brenda's was the doll house. The girls loved it!
They also explored downstairs where Brenda showed them the closet full of toys under her stairs. Lilly's reaction was "this is totally awesome!" and Amelia jumped right in and started playing. While they played I caught up on some of my reading and was nice and relaxed. We went to bed, woke up, packed and piled into the van for the long drive home.

Allie you took some gorgeous photos! And you're right, it's even better when the kids are cooperating. Wish we could have been there--miss y'all.
